FAQ
Parts tax questions
Can I charge tax on labor?
Yes. Labor lines start untaxed, and you tap Taxable on any line your state taxes. Check your state's rules first.
How do discounts affect tax?
A discount lowers the taxable amount in proportion, so you never charge tax on money you didn't bill.
Where do I see the tax I collected?
The Money tab shows taxes collected, and your Schedule C summary lists sales tax separately from income.
