Feature ยท iCloud backup
Mechanic invoice app backup to your own iCloud
Every job, customer, photo and signature backs up to your personal iCloud as dated snapshots. Lose the phone, and you restore on the new one.
Why it helps
-
Dated snapshots
Pick a date and restore to that point.
-
New phone ready
Restore your backup the first time you open it.
-
Face ID lock
Require Face ID before anyone opens your business data.
Good records pay off at tax time. See what you can deduct on Schedule C.
How it works
Protected in three steps
-
Turn it on
Switch on iCloud backup in Settings. It backs up automatically about 30 seconds after your data changes and when you leave the app.
-
Restore by date
Tap Restore from backup and pick a dated snapshot.
-
Set up a new phone
Sign in to the same iCloud, open WrenchStrike, and restore the backup it finds.
FAQ
iCloud backup questions
Where does my data go?
To your own iCloud. There's no WrenchStrike account, and every job, customer and photo stays yours.
Does it use my iCloud storage?
Yes, backups count against your iCloud storage. If iCloud fills up, the app tells you backups are paused.
What does Face ID lock do?
Turn on App Lock and WrenchStrike asks for Face ID when it opens or comes back from the background. If Face ID fails, your passcode gets you in.
